As you contemplate pots of plants, hanging baskets and adorning your living space with plants, consider this:
Herbs- they love sun and heat (for the most part). You can eat them! Kids love them. The smell... Usually they require very little fertilization, no pesticides and just adequate watering.
This pic is a collection of different pots, stacked and wired together. It creates a 'canvas' of sorts which the herbs grow around, into and between. Edible, beautiful, hardy. Sounds pretty good huh?
Take advantage of the potting days to pot up some lavender, sage, basil!
